Inter and Intra Event

Inter and Intra event massage aims to combine pre and post-massage by ensuring that the individual is prepared and focused for their next performance.

Pre Event Massage

Athletes competing in sporting events may choose to opt for pre-event massage to mentally prepare for speed and strength and to aid physiological preparation, massage can help with macro circulation making warm up more effective and minimises the onset of lactic acid reducing the risk of injury.

Post event Sports massage

Post-event massage helps aid mental and physiological recovery and repair; the massage will aim to reduce the production of cytokines and therefore inflammation to allow muscles to recover quicker and stimulate mitochondria – increasing glucose conversion in the muscle cells.

Dry Cupping

Dry cupping treatment is a traditional Chinese therapy that has been practised for more than 2,000 years. During Cupping treatment cups are placed and then suctioned onto the skin. The air inside the cup creates a vacuum that draws the skin and muscle upwards into the cup.
